The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of our favorite places. It is Southern California's largest aquarium and features the world's largest indoor coral reef.
While you're there, you can visit shops and restaurants along Shoreline Village, only a few blocks away (within walking distance).
April is a great month for whale watching! Gray and Humpback Whales are typically heading north this time of year, so you're very likely to catch one on the cruise! Other marine life you may spot: dolphins, sea lions, and pelicans!
You'll definitely want to book this ahead of time!
Disneyland is about a thirty-minute drive from Long Beach and a great way to spend the day!
Another park option that is very close to Long Beach and very So. Cal is Knott's Berry Farm. Knott's has fun roller coasters and is known as "America's first theme park".
Universal Studios Hollywood aka "The Entertainment Capital of LA" is another incredible option! It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios that is still in use.
